Susie Ford
Executive Director of Speech Language Pathology

Dr. Ford majored in speech and hearing science and earned her Ph.D from the University of Tennessee. In practice since 1965, Dr. Ford stays abreast of the latest advances in her field with active memberships in the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association, American Hearing Aid Associates and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, where she received her Certificate in Clinical Competence. A volunteer with the Achievement Academy, she is a Past President of the Georgia Speech and Hearing Association and Past Chair of the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
Gary Waters
Speech Language Pathologist/Chief Operating Officer

After completing his undergraduate studies, Gary obtained his master’s degree in speech communication from Auburn University. In practice since 1976, Gary has been with Columbus Speech and Hearing Center since 1981. A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, he holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the organization. Gary is married to his wife, Carol, and they have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys music, singing, playing guitar, photography and volunteering with Providence Baptist Church.
April McFarland
Speech Language Pathologist

April received her education from Dartmouth College and Auburn University and is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. She is certified by the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and is the lead speech-language pathologist for HeadStart. When she’s away from the office, she enjoys volunteering with her church.
Amy Goodrich
Coordinator of Reading Therapy and Pediatric Services

Amy is a 2003 graduate of Auburn University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders. She is Lindamood-Bell trained in reading, comprehension and math programs. She is certified in Interactive Metronome Therapy.
Andrea Webster
Au.D., CCC-A

Andrea obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master of Communication Disorders from Auburn University before receiving her clinical doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, School of Audiology. A member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, Andrea has earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the ASHA and is board certified by the Georgia and Alabama State Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology.
Brandon Glover
Front Office Manager

After receiving his Associate in Science degree from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in 2000, Brandon graduated from Troy University two years later with a bachelor's degree accounting and business administration. As the office manager, he oversees the front office and the billing department. In his spare time, Brandon enjoys fishing and riding motorcycles.
Helen Marie Davenport
Speech-Language Pathologist

Helen has been part of our team since 2008. After graduating from the University of Auburn, she completed an internship at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta – Outpatient Clinic. She went on to receive her master’s degree in Communication Disorders at Auburn University. Helen stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech and language pathology as she maintains her membership with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Susan Gniot
Speech-Language Pathologist

Susan attended Indiana University for her undergraduate degree before graduating from the University of Kentucky with her graduate degree. Working as part of our team, she is in her first year of completing her clinical internship. Susan is Licensed by the Georgia State Board of Speech and Language Pathology and maintains her membership with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Allison Shannon
Speech-Language Pathologist

Allison received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Auburn University before completing her internship at Beulah Elementary School. She has been a part of our team since 2006. Allison is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and continuously strives to stay up-to-date of the latest advancement available in her field.
Meredith Martin
Speech-Language Pathologist

Meredith is the newest member of our team. She attended Vanderbilt University, where she received her undergraduate degree before receiving her graduate degree from Auburn University. She also completed an externship and internship at Dean Road Elementary School in Auburn, Alabama. Meredith is active in her community, volunteering with Alabama Rural Ministries to repair homes for the underserved families.
Nancy Prohaska, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist

Nancy has served on our team since 2009, with a special interest in the adult and geriatric population. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University, she attended Wichita State University, where she received her Master of Arts degree. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is dedicated to keeping up-to-date with the latest innovations and treatment techniques available. She and her husband, who is in the Army, have three beautiful children: Mike, Lauren and Grake.
Cindy Faulk
Speech-Language Pathologist

A graduate of Auburn University, Cindy brings years of experience to our team. She has been in practice since 1993 but not with us. Cindy is committed to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest advancements in the field of speech and language pathology, and maintains her membership with the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
Ashley Edwards
Speech-Language Pathologist

Ashley is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is certified in Interactive Metronome Therapy.
Katie Robinson
Speech-Language Pathologist

She graduated from Auburn University and began working with us this year in 2009. Volunteer work- leadership team with Campus Church in Auburn, Alabama. Special Interests- she loves outdoor activities and being with people. She lives in Opelika, Alabama with her husband Tyan Masters of Communication Disorders
